Challenge & Fit

Challenge

Yellow Shoes had over 100 retail stores and a century-old legacy — but their ecommerce experience was underdeveloped, clunky, and slow to grow.
While in-store sales remained strong, the digital funnel wasn’t converting. Navigation was confusing, CTAs lacked hierarchy, and the mobile experience was inconsistent at best.

Why They Needed Us

They weren’t just looking for a prettier website. They needed a complete digital overhaul — from UX to automation — without disrupting their retail momentum.
They brought us in to rebuild the system: audit the user journey, simplify the funnel, and launch a growth engine that worked for both in-store and online buyers.

STRATEGY & INSIGHT

Step 01

01

Analytics Review

We dug into bounce rates, exit points, and mobile drop-offs. Product pages and collection navigation showed high abandonment, especially on mobile.

Step 02

02

UX Assessment

We mapped user behavior through GA4, Hotjar, and scroll depth analysis. The navigation was too deep, CTAs too inconsistent, and product discovery paths unclear.

Step 03

03

Heatmap & Scroll Analysis

Heatmaps confirmed what users weren’t engaging with. CTAs often fell below the fold, and high-performing modules weren’t even being seen.

Step 04

04

Stack Audit

The tech stack was underperforming. No lifecycle automation, limited attribution visibility, and a rigid Shopify theme that limited testing.

Step 05

05

Funnel Planning

We built a lifecycle funnel based on user behavior — identifying key entry points for first-time buyers, as well as retention gaps for repeat customers.

Execution & Optimization

Funnel Build & Automation

We launched flows across the lifecycle — welcome, cart and browse abandon, post-purchase, and reactivation. All flows were behavior-triggered and personalized.

Creative Testing

We tested hooks, messaging, and layout structures across Meta, email, and landing pages. Winners were scaled, underperformers retired.

Optimization Infrastructure

We built reporting dashboards tied to KPIs (LTV, ROAS, drop-offs), reviewed weekly. This let us optimize in real time, not in hindsight.
